mailmeartt02

Some girls for the Mail Me More Art Project. It says on the project site, that artists should write on the envelope “empty” or “open me”, depending on if there is something inside..i’m definitely putting something in my envelope. Not as a bribe (cute typo: “not as a bride” ha!), but because it must suck to receive so much cool mail and never a letter.

edit: then again, i don’t know about that..maybe other artists are stuffing their envelopes with naked pictures and money or cheesecake or kittens..i really wouldn’t know. huh.. what do you think i should mail? teaandbooks

Right now, i’m sharing my bed with Bill Brysons “A short history of nearly everything”, hoping i get to dream of stars and solar systems. no luck yet..  i did enjoy his musings on aliens abducting humans (he comes to the conclusion that while aliens would probably not abduct humans,  teenagers aliens would)

analogue-screwdriver

While Michael Nobbs is pondering the analogue world, i thought about a scene from last years christmas special of Dr Who. “What is that?” -”why, this is my sonic screwdriver.” “how is is sonic? it’s a regular screwdriver!” -”*tock-tock* it makes a sound. that’s sonic, isn’t it?”

poster-theater03

The reason that i always smile wednesday evening is not a secret rendezvous but a course i’m taking at community college: theatre! In december, we’ll be playing the Hypochondriac by Molière for your entertainment. It’ll be a modern interpretation of the play. And i’m making the poster. Which one do you like the best ??
