What if..there was this boy..and he was very ugly. His skin was spotted and pale. He wore the clothes that everybody else wore. And he never said anything interesting..BUT: What nobody would ever see was that his germs were pretty. So unbelievably pretty that all the other germs came to the boys body to meet the pretty germs.
I wonder how communication changes when everyones face is mostly covered. Do people flirt with their eyes much more, because they feel they can get away with it more easily in case no one flirts back? Are there more arguments, because a hidden face gives more room for misinterpretation ? And don’t you just want to rip it off, when you are about to say something really important (like “i really love you”) ? And why is that? do these masks add distance ? surely. And how many people get sad, because no one smiles at them (that they know of)..?
Yeah, that’s right ! We all know it’s good to have him sometimes and he saves us often and prevents massive failure and all that, but – hej: he is a pain in the ass and he is not the boss ! So turn around really quickly, when he’s in the room and shout “you are not the boss of me!” very loudly. Add curse words as desired ..just vent! You can be friends again tomorrow…
