taking pictures of drawings
inspired by Kikai „hills have eyes“, lyrics by Kimberly Keck
„he left me there at the edge. / piled some dirt and some leaves / on me. / turned around and just left. / i sat there next to my body / like i was keeping it company. / waiting… / for someone to come / but no one did.“
Recently i tend to integrate my drawings into my surroundings and take pictures of that, rather than just scanning the drawing. I like the extra layer my art gets when put into a context other than flat paper or a frame. I think this is why i love streetart. I will appreciate any whimsical character you draw and stick in the streets. But i will love it, when you place it somewhere special, where it really does interact with its surroundings.
