Mein erstes ebook habe ich 2013 auf dem iphone3 gelesen – ein schwerer schwarzer Handschmeichler mit defektem Mikrofon.
Gegen ebooks war ich vorher aus Prinzip. Ein echtes Buch braucht keine Batterien und kein noch so toller paperlike screen kann das RischelRaschel und den Geruch von Papier ersetzen.

Was ist Freiheit?

Im April habe ich die Himmel und Hölle Preisverleihung der Freischreiber im Betahaus Hamburg mitgezeichnet. Dabei zeichnet der Berufsverband freier Journalisten Individuuen, Redaktionen oder ganze Verlage für besonders faire, himmlische Arbeit im vergangenen Jahr oder eben für höllische Untaten, die freiberuflichen Wissensarbeitern das Leben schwer machen.

Graphic Recording für Jugend hackt

„Was ist denn graphic recording?“ Ich würde es auf Deutsch als ein visuelles Protokoll beschreiben. Genau das habe ich gestern für die 10 Präsentationen für Jugend hackt (Nord) erstellt, ein Wochenende an dem Jugendliche Gruppenprojekte zum Programmieren und Computertüfteln entwickeln können und dabei von ehrenamtlichen Mentoren unterstützt und beraten werden- ein ganz tolles Projekt!

Over christmas I found a treasure in my old room. A big plastic bag full of old stamps that my grandfather had collected over the years for goodwill. Still attached to bits of envelope or  postcards.

Everywhere i go, i take my sketchbook. If you want to sneak a peek at my sketchbook, click here. This one is maybe my favourite. It has simple thick cardboard covers and a good size and most of all really nice paper. The binding is solid. I got it at brandbooks. I love how obsessed they are with good quality.

Weihnachtswichtel

 

 

I hope you are all enjoying this winter and have some time to enjoy a good book somewhere nice. Soon it is christmas! I am very happy to announce that one of my illustrations is part of a boardgame. Karin Janner (spieltz) came up with the idea for a crowdsourced christmas-themed Roulette game: Weihnachtswichtel.

Guerilla knitting

Guerilla knitting is just the thing to do when autumn hits the city. Warm wolly things that keep your cold hands busy while you are sitting with a cup of tea and listen to the whole album of that band you like (and not just skip through the songs randomly). Then you venture out, out into the city and find that spot that is in need of some colour and drape your creation around it. There!

Recycled Creativity Festival

Last weekend i was in Berlin to attend the Recycled Creativity festival. It was amazing.

fruit stickers

My hobbies, part one. I do collect fruit stickers and keep them in a stamp collecting album. I arrange them by colour, beauty or typographical amazingness.
